Congratulations to everyone. Remember that preparation is a key to success. Provisional ranks are subject to improvements being made within 3 months of the grading. For those affected, your instructors will speak to you individually.  There is no change to belt colour in the interim. The main reasons that a rank is made Provisional is usually due to inadequate preparation on the part of the person presenting. Prior to each grading students are reminded about the criteria under which they will be measured. Students must read this and ensure they qualify. eg If you are 5th or 4th Kyu (Green belts), you must be able to perform Kata Saifa. It also helps to be wearing correct belt.
Certificates may be collected from Wednesday 11th December.
Final session 18th December 2013.

TERM 1 2013 IS COMING TO AN END!!!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to remind everyone before I get ahead of myself that end of term 1 is fast approaching.

The last session for term 1 is Wednesday 17 April, (Thanks Peter). We then have a 2 week break before we get into it again.

Ex members who we're kept on the Mailing List are more than welcome to "re-appear".

In Term 2 we will be working on the following:

Black Belts - Sepai Kata and applications,
Brown Belts - Shisochin Kata and applications.
Green Belts - Saifa Kata and applications,
Orange Belts who have mastered both Gekisai Dai ichi and Ni Katas along with 2 man Kata will also be trained Saifa
Yellow Belts - Gekisai Dai ichi and Dai Ni - 2 man Kata, and Applications.

For all, there will be constant revision of everything practised to date. Nobody ever gets to the stage where they don't have to do any training anymore.
