PLANNED WEBSITE OUTAGE AND UPDATE
This has been delayed for a week, and it will not affect you as we will then divert to our backup website.

ALTERNATIVE WEBSITE & PLANNED OUTAGE
Planned Outage - www.rembuden.wellington.nz
While the latter is expected to be down, it will redirect to: www.sportsground.co.nz/rembudenkilbirnie
our altenative website.
The server outage may take longer, depending on whether further issues are encountered during deployment.
This will explain any changes to the regular website, and why sometimes you will see our alternative Sportsground website. At the moment, the regular website is up and running until the planned outage, but may occasionally be substituted as the need arises.
Its business as usual so to speak for the club.
There will be a web server outage planned for (Tue~ Thu) 14~16 August 2012 where service will be down for all hosted WCN sites. Our Domain Name www.rembuden.co.nz directs to to the WCN site: www.rembuden.wellington.nz

TERM 3, 2012 - BEGINS
Hi everyone,
Term 3 has now started, and the 2nd week is nearly over. Thanks to those who have already paid your fees.
For the others who haven't, do show us your committment now by getting your fees up to date. Remember all Term fees must be paid at the commencement of the term, not half way through or at the end of the term.We would like to have the confidence that those who are in arrears aren't simply going to disappear at some stage after we have committed considerable Instructor resources to their training and development.
Having paid your fees, then all you have to do is turn up at training. Its that simple!
Rembuden Kilbirnie Karate Club's fees are one of the lowest in the Wellington area. In fact, this is almost a deterrent to prospective new members who purchase based on the mindset that if the price is higher elsewhere, then they must be better there and that cheaper is inferior. Unfortunately students or parents don't really have the martial arts training to judge what is best and what isn't. It comes down to "feel good", and some of these dojo's are very good at doing that.
A comparison on training fees: Our Adult Classes are $70/term, while Juniors/Students are $50. A local club practising another style charges its Juniors $100 per term while another charges Adults $200/quarter, and Juniors under 16 yrs $110/quarter, and those under 7yrs $80/quarter.(Their quarter equates to our terms). Good on them on their successful network marketing is all I say.
So why are we so cheap? Two reasons. First we don't do this for a living, and second, we do not operate our facilites 24/7 which would increase our overheads considerably.
Cheers.
